Developed by Mirage Game Studios, this delightful title offers a captivating blend of strategy, creativity, and resource management. I have no idea if this is useful information for anyone else, but I thought I'd share anyways.Welcome to the charming and engaging world of “Little Big Workshop,” a unique and immersive sandbox game that allows players to build and manage their own miniature factory. ![]() I also would normally only use half (or 3/4) of this, leaving room for a vehicle to park near the bench for repairs/construction. Personally, I like my bench to be directly N of me, and I like to be directly adjacent to a footlocker charging station, my tools, a lamp, and a welding rig, so those nearby spots are used for them. Green spots can hold any walkable terrain including workbench, standing lamps, spinning wheel, etc. For comparison, my earliest and simpler version (which attempted to keep paths straight/cardinal) would only fit 98 shelves in the same space. ![]() With this layout, you can reach 128 shelves from your crafting spot - if they are all warehouse shelves, that's a whopping 448,000L of storage - assuming you enter via ladder and use all spaces. This applies to appliances and constructed tools as well, so any red tile could also hold a forge, drill press, etc. If you didn't know, while crafting you can access any item that you can reach by taking 5 steps, taking obstacles into account - and including any tile adjacent to that 5th step. H'okay, so, I've done a bit of trial/error trying to sort out the most efficient way to layout my workshop to be able to access as much stuff as possible without moving, and this is one of a few similar variations with the highest ratio of shelves to path that I can find.įor reference, the black tile in the center is where you stand to craft, red tiles are storage, green tiles are walkable.
